New Hire Expert Spotlight: Ankura Welcomes Nedim Husrefovic
Ankura is delighted to welcome Nedim Husrefovic to the Healthcare Disputes team as a Managing Director in our Washington, DC office. Nedim brings nearly 20 years of experience across industries including healthcare, life sciences, and financial sectors. His specialization in risk adjustment, compliance, and data utilization marks a focused expansion of the Healthcare Disputes team's Risk Adjustment services.
Nedim is an expert on Medicare Advantage and Affordable Care Act Risk Adjustment and will focus on bringing compliance-based operational solutions, supporting healthcare risk adjustment operations, and data management expertise to clients in Medicare Advantage and ACA markets. His subject matter expertise in digital transformation and operational effectiveness will also help clients apply data-driven insights to mitigate risks and drive measurable outcomes.
Prior to joining Ankura, Nedim's professional experience has focused on healthcare risk adjustment, data and analytics solutions, life sciences clinical trials, data management, and information technology internal audits and SOX controls. Throughout his career, Nedim has led large departments assisting organizations in navigating complex processes and legacy data environments with issues related to operations, analytics, compliance, audits, forensics, disputes, SOX controls, financial investigations, automation, SaaS, analytics, data mining, vendor management, and health system modernization.
He has developed large-scale healthcare data and analytics solutions and business platforms using in-house and external data to enable real-time, proactive actionable decision-making for large Payer/Provider organizations and supported life sciences clinical trials with digital data transformation and development of tools and services to support compliance and integrity efforts.
