Ankura is pleased to announce that Dr. Kelly Lear Nordby, a Ph.D. economist and Managing Director in the Disputes and Economics group, was named by Women We Admire as one of “The Top 50 Women Leaders of Massachusetts for 2023.” Women We Admire aims to recognize the achievements of exceptional women while inspiring others to aim high and reach their full potential. Remarking about this year’s awardees, Women We Admire stated, “[t]hese accomplished leaders bring a unique perspective, strong work ethic, and exceptional skills to the table, resulting in innovative solutions and transformative growth.”
Kelly commented: “I am honored to be recognized among this talented group of women and I am grateful to the colleagues and mentors who supported me along my journey as a working mother of two.”
Kelly has over 20 years of experience directing rigorous economic analyses in complex litigation matters and has provided expert testimony in arbitration and federal court proceedings. She has taught undergraduate and graduate level economics courses at several universities and publishes articles in the field. Kelly is an active member of the American Bar Association and volunteers in her community, serving as treasurer for two non-profit organizations, among other roles.
