• Floating Production Storage Offload Vessel (FPSO) Arbitration – disputed amount – significant: Currently instructed on behalf of the vessel owner (respondent) against the shipyard (claimant) providing quantum expert services, advice, and assistance to client and legal team, managing the quantum expert team, drafting expert reports. Briefing in preparation for cross-examination.
• Major Shopping Mall Arbitration – disputed amount – significant: Currently instructed on behalf of the owner (respondent) against the main construction contractor providing quantum expert services, advice, and assistance to Client and legal team and report drafting in this arbitration regarding construction cost and schedule overruns.
• Major Coal Fired Power Station Project Dispute Board dispute – disputed amount – significant: Currently providing quantum advice to EPC contractor regarding several heads of claim including head office overheads, project preliminaries, price fluctuation, finance costs and increased warranty costs, and liability.
• Offshore Semi-submersible Drilling Rig Arbitration– disputed amount – significant: Currently providing quantum expert services instructed on behalf of the shipyard (respondent) against the buyer (claimant) regarding a termination providing advice and assistance to Client and legal team.
• Offshore Semi-Submersible Drilling Unit Arbitration – Far East – disputed amount circa $200 million: Provided quantum expert services instructed on behalf of the vessel owner (respondent) addressing the prolongation and disruption claims drafting the relevant sections of the quantum expert reports.
• Pipeline and Wellfield (Land-Based) Facility Arbitration– Middle East – disputed amount circa $340 million: Provided quantum expert services instructed on behalf of the government authority (respondent) provided advice to client and legal team, manage the quantum team, drafted the expert reports, and participated in expert meetings. Briefed counsel on potential cross-examination.
• Numerous civil engineering, and construction projects (Land-Based) – Middle East – circa $ several hundred million project values: Provided commercial review and audit for a major contractor allowing the client’s senior management to focus on the issues that mattered to turnaround and improve its commercial performance.
• Oil & Gas Land-Based Production and Processing Facility – Asia: Provided advice on the contract mechanisms between the government authority and the operator regarding costs indices.
• Offshore Pipe-lay, Platform and Hook-up Gas Production Project – Offshore Middle East – Project amount $1.5 billion: Managed a team of consultants in the development and preparation of delay, disruption, and other claims.
• Building Refurbishment – Commercial Advice – £400,000 of claims items: Provided commercial and quantum advice on several heads of set-off claims supporting the settlement negotiations; adjudication was averted.
• Hospital Construction Project Arbitration – Middle East – disputed amount several hundred million: Instructed by the main contractor (claimant) drafting and evaluating the quantum aspects of the claim liaising with client, counsel, and legal team.
• Offshore Oil and Gas – Subsea Pipe-laying Project Arbitration – Nigeria – disputed amount circa $270 million: Instructed on behalf of the EPC contractor (claimant) provided quantum expert services.
• Wind Farm – Offshore UK/North Sea Claim – disputed amount £11 million: Provided an internal report on claims providing options as to negotiation and formal dispute positions.
• Offshore LNG Extraction via Subsea Pipelines to Onshore and Offshore Process and Distribution Facilities – Claims Review- Australia – project value several tens of billions – disputed amounts $ tens of millions: Provided claims advice, drafted correspondence and change orders, and provided the preliminary drafting of the re-negotiated EPC contract.
• Offshore Mooring Yoke construction Caspian Sea – Litigation (London) – disputed amount € 24 million: Provided quantum expert services instructed on behalf of the EPC contractor (respondent).
