Darri L. Scalzo

Prior to joining Ankura, Darri served for 12 years as the Research Compliance Officer for an academic health center, where she oversaw the overall research compliance program, directed and performed audits of human subject research studies, animal research protocols, the Institutional Review Board, and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, assisted in investigations of research misconduct and undue foreign influence, and managed the research compliance education program.

Darri has experience interacting with federal oversight agencies such as the National Institute of Health Office of Extramural Research, the Office of Research Integrity, the Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration. She also has experience in both financial and programmatic audits of federal grants, pre-award administration, and sponsored funds accounting.
