- Bankruptcy Settlement Validation: Supported validation efforts of a U.S. trustee settlement, performing detailed loan level reviews to ensure accurate remediation calculations for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases.
- Aged FHA Review: Conducted forensic reviews of FHA insured mortgage loans to identify causes of conveyance delays, ensuring timely and accurate documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Mortgage Servicing Transfer Compliance Review: Conducted compliance testing for a large non-bank mortgage servicer. Evaluated adherence to state and federal regulations, and recommended enhancements to policies and procedures.
- Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Remediation Review: Led a team of over 200 resources to perform a historical analysis of credit bureau reporting information of more than 800,000 personal loans, auto leases, and auto loans. Developed an approach and quality control process to support the automated calculation of payment history profiles based on individual account-level characteristics and historical activity
- Payment Application Review: Validated remediation amounts for missed mortgage payment change notifications for loans in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Once the amounts were verified, confirmed proper application to each account in the system of record.
- Fair Lending CMS Review: Performed review of fair lending policies, procedures and other documentation related to The Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and the Community Reinvestment Act in response to a Department of Justice (DOJ) settlement. Trained approximately 500 bank loan officers on fair lending laws. In accordance with the settlement, provided recommendations to ensure future compliance with fair lending laws and the terms of the DOJ settlement.
- Fair Credit Reporting Act Compliance Review: Performed testing related to the furnishing of credit information to consumer reporting agencies, including reviewing data analytics and conducting account level testing to ensure the accuracy of the Metro2™ submission files. Conducted root cause analysis to help client resolve recurring systemic issues. Provided recommendations to policies and procedures to bring into compliance with the FCRA.
